Open Evening 2025

We are delighted that you are interested in finding out more about the Cherwell School Sixth Form.

Our main Open Evening took place on Thursday 16 January 2025. Resources from the evening are available online. Presentations on the Sixth Form, our curriculum provision and our support programmes are pre-recorded and available on our website, with detailed information in our prospectus. You can also learn more about the Sixth Form and guidance on choosing subjects through a virtual briefing held as part of our preparations for the Open Evening. 

Applications for entry to the Sixth Form for September 2025 (for students currently studying in Year 11) are now open. All students wishing to be considered for a place in the Sixth Form, including those students currently studying GCSEs at Cherwell, must complete an application form by the deadline (Sunday 23 February 2025).

If you were unable to make the Sixth Form Open Evening and you have further questions once you have reviewed the online information through our website, we will hold on-site welcome visits on Friday 7 February at 1.30pm and 2.30pm.

The visit lasts 30 minutes in a group of up to 25 visitors. You will meet with Miss Charlotte Richer (Head of Sixth Form) and two student ambassadors for a short talk and Q&A, followed by a walk through the Sixth Form Centre and the North Site. It will not be possible to view any lessons or to meet subject teachers as part of this visit.

We welcome prospective students (currently studying in Year 11) and up to two accompanying guests.
