Open Evening 2025

Save the date: Join us on Thursday 16 January 2025 to find out more about learning, teaching and student life in the Sixth Form at the Cherwell School. The event runs from 5pm - 8pm, with one hour visits beginning every half hour. 

The Open Evening is your chance to find out more about what student life is like as a Sixth Form student at Cherwell. You’ll have a chance to gather information, ask questions and see the Sixth Form Centre. You will get the chance to meet and speak to subject teachers in our 24 A Level courses, Extended Project Qualification supervisors and the Sixth Form team (pastoral, university and careers advisors and SEND support teams). Most importantly, you’ll be able to meet and talk individually with our current Sixth Form students.

The Open Evening is intended for students currently in Year 11 who would like to join the Sixth Form in September 2025, whether currently studying at Cherwell or from any school or college across the county. Students can be accompanied by up to two additional visitors.

Bookings for the Open Evening will open in late October 2024. Applications for places to study in the Sixth Form will then open on Friday 17 January 2025. No applications will be considered until the deadline has passed on Sunday 16 February 2025.
